Repair costs vary significantly depending on the type of equipment, the nature of the problem, and parts required. Our labor rates range from $95-110 per hour depending on the work type. Yes, we love older equipment! We've worked on tractors and implements from the 1960s all the way up to the latest models. Older machines often require more specialized knowledge and parts sourcing, but we have extensive experience with vintage equipment. In fact, we've rebuilt engines and transmissions on tractors that most shops won't touch. Give us a call about your older equipment—we'd be happy to take a look.
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For larger repair jobs, we can also arrange financing through third-party providers. We understand that farming operations often have seasonal cash flows, and we're happy to discuss payment options that work for your situation.

Service-Specific Questions
Common questions about specific repair and maintenance services.
For most tractors, we recommend a comprehensive service at least once per year, ideally before the busy planting or harvest seasons. Oil and filters should be changed every 250-300 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first. However, actual service intervals depend on usage, age of equipment, and manufacturer recommendations. Heavy-use tractors may need more frequent service.
Our pre-season inspections are comprehensive. We check engine performance and diagnostics, fluid levels and condition, belt and hose wear, tire condition and pressure, battery health and connections, hydraulic system operation, PTO functionality, lights and electrical systems, 3-point hitch operation, and brake performance. We provide a detailed written report with any recommendations.
Repair times vary based on the complexity of the work. Simple repairs like belt replacements or fluid changes can be completed in a few hours. Major repairs like engine overhauls or transmission rebuilds may take several days to a week. When we provide your estimate, we'll also give you an expected completion time. We work efficiently without rushing—quality matters.
Often, yes! We have extensive relationships with OEM dealers, salvage yards, and aftermarket parts suppliers across the country. For many older machines, we can find new old stock (NOS) parts or high-quality aftermarket alternatives. In some cases, we can also fabricate custom parts. If a part is truly unavailable, we'll let you know and discuss alternatives.
There are several maintenance tasks that farmers can handle themselves: checking and topping off fluids, inspecting belts and hoses for wear, greasing zerks (we can show you where they are), checking tire pressure, cleaning air filter screens, and keeping equipment clean of debris. Our technicians are happy to show you basic maintenance during your visits or discuss what's appropriate for your comfort level and equipment.
